Exhibitor Declaration (Student Participants)
By signing the signature form submitted to the Niagara Regional Science and Engineering Fair committee, I /we certify that:
– The preparation of this project is my/our own work.
– I / We have read the rules and regulations and agree to abide by them.
– I / We agree that the decision of the judges will be final.
– I / We agree that all information submitted in the online registration system is true and accurate. I / we understand that falsely entered data will result in disqualification.
Parent / Guardian Declaration
As a parent/guardian I certify to the best of my knowledge and believe the information contained in the online application is correct, and the project is the work of the student. I understand that falsely entered data will result in disqualification. I realize that the material used and the manner of its use is the responsibility of the student and that neither the organizers of the Fair nor Brock University or Niagara College are to be responsible for damage or theft. I hereby release and forever discharge the Niagara Regional Science and Engineering Fair, and its agents, officers and employees from all manner of actions, claims or demands which may arise from or be caused by reason of the attendance of my child at the Fair. I further agree that should my child be the cause of any damage, loss or injury to another person, while attending the Fair, I will indemnify the Niagara Regional Science and Engineering Fair. I hereby grant permission to the Niagara Regional Science and Engineering Fair to use my child’s name and any pictures in media releases, and on the website. I further understand that all exhibits entered must be left on display until the end of the Fair. If my child does not remove the exhibit at the specified time at the end of the Fair, the Fair organizers or the owner of the exhibition hall cannot be held responsible for the disposal of the exhibit.
