The NRSEF has closely monitored the evolving situation of the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus). The health and wellbeing of all NRSEF participants, parents, judges and volunteers is our top priority.
On March 12, 2020, the Government of Ontario announced the closure of all publicly funded elementary and high schools from March 14 – April 5, 2020.
In light of the Government of Ontario’s announcement, and one from Brock University, our host who have cancelled all third party events hosted on campus through June 1, we have regretfully made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Niagara Regional Science and Engineering Fair.
We appreciate the efforts of the students who have been diligently working on science fair projects and hope that you will be interested in presenting your research at next year’s fair. A thank you to all the parents, teachers and mentors for supporting the students over the course of the year.
